Central Victorian Gospel Radio was established on 23rd September, 1983 and incorporated in 1986. Since that time CVGR have conducted many successful test transmissions.
Today we operate on a 12 month test transmission licence 24 hours a day broadcasting from Mt. Alexander with the studio in the township of Harcourt, Victoria. CVGR is an inter-denominational non-profit gospel radio station fully supported and operated by local Christian volunteers.
The aim of CVGR in all its programmes is to broadcast the plain and simple gospel message of the saving grace of Jesus and eternal life to be had through Jesus’s birth, death and resurrection reflecting the biblical teachings.
The programmes are for all age groups with Favourite Hymns, Country Gospel, Christian Contemporary Music.
