Jesus said:" I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." John 14:6
| Letter from the President |
![]() It gives me great delight, as the new President of the Central Victorian Gospel Radio, to announce our intention to take up our community broadcasting radio licence and launch a new look Christian radio station in early February on 105.1 FM. This radio licence will allow us to broadcast the gospel to a listening audience of 100,000+ people in Bendigo and the nearby communities. This station will also be streaming over the internet and be accessible right around the globe. The Board of CVGR are currently working very hard to accomplish all that is needed to allow the radio to begin broadcasting in the New Year. We are currently looking for an appropriate location for the studio in Bendigo and our programming sub-committee is seeking out new presenters and age appropriate programs that will impact the lives of every listener (young and old). I’m excited about the opportunity to broadcast the good news about Jesus Christ in a relevant manner into every home in Bendigo. We covet your prayerful support and urge you to become a member and contributor at this station in 2011. For His Glory Dave Lovell |
Central Victorian Gospel Radio was established on 23rd September, 1983 and incorporated in 1986. Since that time CVGR have conducted many successful test transmissions.
CVGR is an inter-denominational non-profit gospel radio station fully supported and operated by local Christian volunteers.
The aim of CVGR in all its programmes is to broadcast the plain and simple gospel message of the saving grace of Jesus and eternal life to be had through Jesus’s birth, death and resurrection reflecting the biblical teachings.
The programmes are for all age groups with Favourite Hymns, Country Gospel, Christian Contemporary Music.
